"My dealings with RMS were the best I have received from any dealer in a very long time. I travel a lot, and dealing with other dealers was uncomfortable to say the least. Other dealers didn't want to deal with me or my trade in over the phone. I contacted Elan at RMS, and set up a purchase of 2 ATV's, with an estimate on my trade in value, bought some accessories, made deposits, and obtained financing all over the phone. Although I had to get a trailer, and drive to Richardson, TX, Elan made it well worth the trip, and our early Christmas was complete, thanks to Elan. Elan went above and beyond to insure I was taken care of. I was genuinely impressed with the professionalism of the staff. I originally came in for a helmet and an inspection, my battery died while I was there. They had a battery in stock and Paul made sure it was installed by the end of the day despite how busy they were. I am grateful for their kindness, they are true professionals. Parts department was excellent too, they helped me to find and fit a good helmet, explained the differences of each helmet to me and even gave me a military discount. "I was looking for a TTR 230 Yamaha for my son, I called my local dealer and they had a new 2013 advertise for $3,490. When I call mind you I have purchased a bike in Dec 2013 so you would think that they would take care of a returning customer. So, when I asked for a out the door price on the 2013 they came back with $ 4,270 on a 2013 really!.... I called Richardson Motorsports and spoke with Kyle. I asked Kyle to give me out the door price for his bike and he blew my mind.... I had to asked him twice if it was for a 2014 TTR 230 Yamaha cause the price was unbelievable. I came out the same day and picked it up. I want to say Kyle your the Boss! No haggle ,No Bull, just straight talk. I was in and out in less than 10 min.The last bike I bought at my local dealer it took 2 hr to do paper work, the finance guy pissed my off by trying to sell me extra crap.... Man hate that kind of crap. Kyle kept it straight forward, you have no ideal how I appreciate what you did for us.... "I want to say that your dealership is great, I drove 4 1/2 hours to buy 2 ATVs that i had found online. Chris worked the deal over the phone, once i got there he had the paperwork ready, and the ATV was just as it was described on the website. The parts team went out of there way to fix a gun mount for a Can Am outlander xt, they just would not give up. "My wife and I purchased a 2008 Can-Am Renegade 500 and a 2008 Yamaha Raptor 700R from Richardson Motorsports. It was really a pretty painless experience. Both units were in stock, so there was no wait time at all. We pretty much went in, spoke to Troy about the 2 machines we wanted, singed a couple of forms, and we were ready to roll! Troy was even kind enough to lend us a trailer to take one of the quads home that day. The trailer we purchased was delivered to the dealership 2 days later on the following Monday. "I just wanted to let you know how pleasant it has been to work with Gary in the service department. A few years ago, I purchased a used Seadoo GTI. I took it to a dealership in Sherman to have some service work performed on the unit. After three trips to that dealership for the same repair, I brought it to your dealership. Gary was able to locate the problem and fix relatively inexpensively while the other dealership had charged me over $500 at that point and had still not fixed the problem. That took place in 2000. I have been using your service department ever since. I am not mechanically inclined by nature but Gary always takes the time to explain to me the various alternatives to repair my units. He is always friendly and courteous and makes me feel as though I am his only customer. I hope that Richardson Motorsports recognizes what a valuable employee Gary is for your company. "On some of the Roadstar rider message boards I visit, the other riders are always bashing their dealers. I've never had any reason to be unhappy at Richardson Motorsports. Even when I had the tranny recall done, the parts were ready when promised & the job completed when promised; the bike was perfect when I got it back--no nicks, scratches, etc. Today I had a new Metzler front tire installed & the whole thing was done in less than an hour while I waited. "Just wanted to say how much I love my new family at Richardson Motorsports I first purchased my son a 90 Polaris predator from troy them decided to buy me the Polaris 250 trailblazer after buying these two machines the service was awesome troy treated me like a brother I then decided to buy my friend a bike also of course Troy was awesome again I wanted some performance parts for my toys they stopped what they were doing to take care of me my dad hunts and called me from Beaumont, Texas he said son I need a four wheeler I told him that he needed to call troy and he would take care of him my dad living 325 miles from the shop talked to troy on the phone within 10 min my dad called back and said he bought a bike from troy without even seeing the bike I the called troy and told him I would pick it up on Friday the next day when I took it to Beaumont and dropped it off my dad was really happy troy read my dads mind troy is now family along with Richardson Motorsports and the crew I recently put my bike in the shop and they were very fast and I know that now I will only buy from troy and his crew I have had a lot of bikes and this was the best experience yet buying from them yet I will buy from no one else the only thing my dad was disappointed in was that troy didn't put tassels on his handlebars like the Harleys have ha. "It's not too often that you can go into a dealership and not be hounded by aggressive sales people, mark cannon was not aggressive at all. He took the time to make sure we got the jet skis we wanted and told us about every jet ski RMS had to offer. Mr. Cannon made us feel like family, even though we didn't get approved that Saturday (may 14, 2005) he still called us that following Tuesday to keep us informed and to see if we had any other questions. We came in on may 19, 2005 to get everything set-up and picked up our new jet skis on Friday (may 20, 2005) as promised. Mr cannon is in a class all by himself. We will be rms buyers for life. "I bought a previously-owned 2001 Yamaha Wolverine from Richardson Motorsports. I found it to be in excellent shape and it had been fully serviced. This was my first ATV, and I can say I am having a great time with it -and no problems- that's the important part. The salesman negotiated well and didn't pressure me. The financing was easy and the finance manager suggested how I could save money by choosing the right plan. The parts and service people gave me great technical and preventive maintenance advice, and when I needed some accessory parts fast, like a winch and mounting kit, the parts manager went out of his way to make some phone calls and get one of the items shipped UPS blue, even though the supplier of that particular part does not usually do that. The service manager went out of his way to explain some details I was confused about.
